Recreation and Activities
With our staff curating a diverse and dynamic activities programme, there is always something to keep everyone engaged. And although everyone is welcome to join in group activities, we understand the importance of individual interests, and actively support residents in pursuing them.
Activities organised by staff include everything from bingo, cinema nights, themed parties, cooking, flower arranging to trips to the theatre, swimming pool, pub lunches and local attractions. Activities are chosen by discussion with residents so we can ensure everyone is looking forward to something.
We have also built up strong relationships with local community groups and entertainers to bring different organisations to The Avenue and keep our social calendar as varied as possible.
Additionally, The Avenue has available upon request the service of local opticians, hairdressers, podiatrists and we welcome visits by any representatives of any faith choices of our residents.
